Forex Risk Warning

Trading in the Forex market is not something that should be entered into on a whim.  Forex trading involves a lot of risk, even if you are a confident and experienced trader.  Before you start trading, you should spend some time to assess your level of experience, and your risk appetite.  In addition, you should carefully consider your budget.  You should never invest money that you cannot afford to lose.

The Forex market is a volatile one with limited regulatory protection and a high degree of volatility.  The level is risk is amplified by the large amounts of leverage that traders can make use of.  Any market movement will have a large impact on your deposited funds.  That movement could work for you, but it can also work against you.  If you are not able to meet a margin requirement, then you will be responsible for any losses that you face.  If you stretch your budget too far, you could end up in serious financial trouble if a trade goes wrong.

Trading online opens you up to other risks too.  The Forex market moves quickly, and if you are not able to get online to conduct your trades, the broker that you trade with will not be held responsible for any resulting losses.  Your broker will not be held responsible for losses through lag, either. Make sure you have telephone details for your broker, and that you have stop loss orders in place to protect yourself in unforeseen situations.

Forex trading can be enjoyable, and if you make the right trades it can also be profitable, however you should always trade with caution, and never invest funds that you cannot afford to lose.  The information on this website is simply general commentary, and does not constitute investment advice. Trade with caution, and always manage your bankroll carefully.

Forex trading can be a significant risk and therefore not suitable for everyone.
Just as the high degree of leverage that might benefit, it can also be harmful, so before you start trading consider carefully your investment, your degree of orientation in the field, and of course the degree of risk overall.
All market that can yield high rewards may also be a significant risk.
